Stanley Transfer Deadline

Stanley made two new signings before Friday’s League deadline.
Defender Johnny Flynn from Blackburn and Liverpool keeper Dean
Bouzanis join. Making way is left back Chris King.

Although Stanley’s embargo was lifted so they could sign ahead of the
transfer deadline, they still have a second embargo restricting them to
20 senior players, so they had to release King to make way for
goalkeeper Bouzanis

Flynn is cup-tied for today’s FA cup tie due to his loan spell at
Chester earlier in the season. They are awaiting permission for
Bouzanis to take part in the squad.
